… what do I do with all the information I gathered?

I have a folder in Firefox that is full of “wedding stuff” bookmarks. Dress ideas, wedsite links, wedding blogs and forums, and crafty stuff, along with song ideas, flower ideas, and honeymoon ideas.

The wedding has already happened, and I’ve passed along some of the links to a good friend who got engaged a couple of weeks ago, but do I delete the rest? Or do I hang onto them for a little longer?

Silly question, but it came to mind a couple of weeks ago. I mean, we’re almost at our two-month-aversary now, and the planning is over.

Did anyone else have a problem figuring out what to do with all their resources?

And other than the website bookmarks, I still have my “dream” notebook with ideas, thoughts and stuff that I developed over the years in the hopes of one day getting married. Maybe that one I’ll pack away for a while…

By popular demand…

… here are some more photos from the wedding day.

Again, if you were at the wedding and took photos, please let me know and I’ll give you information about how to get them to us. We’d like to be able to print some friends’ photos to put in our albums.

But now, without any further or do…

Photos! Check ‘em out!

All photos by Rod MacIvor, photographer extraordinaire!

Steve and I had two friends do readings for us during the ceremony – Sarah and Cindy.

Here are the readings they did.

Do you have photos?

For those who were at the wedding:

Did you take photos? If you did, we’d love to see them and add them to our album.

Email Dawna dot Steven at Gmail dot com for information on how to share them.

Thanks! :)

Shameless plug

I am still trying to document everything from the wedding and the honeymoon. Hopefully one night this week I’ll have time to write things down before they fade too much more in my brain.

In the meantime, I’m trying to get my “Gal From Away” blog going again. I started it over a year ago now, but with the wedding plans, I got a bit (ok, a lot) distracted. Feel free to check it out. It’s been a slow start, getting back into writing there, but hopefully the posts will become more regular.

The time flew by far too quickly.

I’ll write up something about it soon. In the meantime..

Photos from Gros Morne

Almost honeymoon time!

It’s been a busy few days. The final guests have flown home, and Steve and I are in the midst of preparing for our adventures to Gros Morne. Last night we got some of the camping gear into the back of the truck, tried out the bike rack (loaded up with bikes – great investment, let me tell you. It worked really well!), and put through a number of loads of laundry while tidying and playing with the cats. Tonight, finishing laundry, packing clothes for all four seasons, and making up a list of food that’ll be good to have while camping.

It’s going to be so nice to relax and tour and not think about anything for a week. :) And I’m so excited about finally getting to see Gros Morne!

Hopefully after the trip I’ll have something written up about the wedding – before it all blurs together further and I forget some of the details. :)

In the meantime, hope all is well with those who continue to visit here. I’ll be sure to post some photos from the trip when we get back!
